Kooth is an award winning online emotional health and wellbeing service for young people, offering lots of different levels of support including online counselling, support and advice. The service is extremely flexible, offering anonymous and confidential support through drop-in counselling sessions, messaging with counsellors, out of hours use as well as structured support. There are lots of self-help tools, articles written by young people and adults, forums relating to a wide range of topics, and live forums available, moderated by our online team.
Our counsellors can talk to children and young people about anything they’d like, and it’s a very quick and simple sign-up, providing anonymity. Kooth is a very safe service where everything is moderated and confidential, all supported by experienced, trained, qualified counsellors. Our team can also help children and young people into accessing local face to face services, or help with signposting to other appropriate support.
Kooth provide an anonymous 24-hour online service offering peer support, self-help and have trained counsellors to talk to. Anyone living in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin can register to access this service and you don’t need to be referred.
Our counsellors are available between 12-10pm Monday-Friday, and 6-10pm at weekends. The site is still available outside of those hours, but counsellors are not available during these times. However, messages can still be sent to counsellors and these will be picked up the next day.
